Sarah Craven is chief of the United Nations Population Fund's Washington office. Her organization recently released its annual State of the World Population Report, which examines the increasing urbanization of the world's population and the need to focus on the urban poor. Craven holds a masters degree from Cambridge University and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. This Forum was co-hosted by the Blue Ridge Chapter of the United Nations Association-USA in honor of United Nations Day.
