From 1993 to 2000, Ron Suskind was the senior national affairs writer for the Wall Street Journal. He currently writes for various magazines, including the New York Times Magazine and Esquire. Suskind has appeared on various television news programs and is a distinguished visiting scholar at Dartmouth College. He is the author of A Hope in the Unseen: An American Odyssey from the Inner City to the Ivy League (Doubleday/Broadway, 1998), which was launched by a series in the Wall Street Journal that won him the 1995 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing. His other books include The Price of Loyalty: George W. Bush, the White House, and the Education of Paul O'Neill (Simon & Schuster, 2004), The One Percent Doctrine: Deep Inside America's Pursuit of Its Enemies Since 9/11 (Simon & Schuster, 2007), and The Way of the World: A Story of Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism (Harper, 2008).
