Sidney M. Milkis (right) is the White Burkett Miller Professor of Governance and Foreign Affairs and a professor of politics at the University of Virginia and the Miller Center. His research focuses on the American presidency, political parties and elections, social movements, and American political development.

Nicholas F. Jacobs (left) is an assistant professor at Colby College, where he teaches in the Government Department. He earned his PhD at UVA where he was a student of Sid Milkis.
