President Franklin Delano Roosevelt

President Franklin D. Roosevelt was born in Hyde Park, New York in 1882.  He was attended Harvard University and Columbia University law school and entered New York state politics at the age of 28. Roosevelt held many roles in state and national politics.  Although he was nearly paralyzed by polio, Roosevelt won the 1932 presidential election in a landslide and was reelected an unprecedented three times.
