Canes-Wrone is a professor in the political science department and a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. She is also the director of the Center for Revitalizing American Institutions.

Connell, a Miller Center Governing Council member and chair of the Miller Center Foundation Board of Directors, comes from a distinguished career in intelligence, most of which was at the Central Intelligence Agency.

Milkis is the Miller Center’s White Burkett Miller Professor of Governance and Foreign Affairs and a professor of politics in UVA's Department of Politics. His research focuses on the American presidency, political parties and elections, and social movements. 

Overton is the Patricia Roberts Harris Research Professor of Law at George Washington University, as well as the founder and faculty director of GW Law’s Multiracial Democracy Project.

Pasachoff is Agnes Williams Sesquicentennial Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center. She studies administrative law, public administration, and budget and appropriations law.

Potter, a Miller Center faculty senior fellow, is an associate professor of politics in UVA's Department of Politics. She studies the hidden politics of procedure and process in American political institutions, with a focus on bureaucracy and regulation.

Rackey is an associate director of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Structural Democracy Project. He previously served on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress.

Reynolds is the vice president and director of governance studies at the Brookings Institution, where she studies Congress, with an emphasis on how congressional rules and procedure affect policymaking.

Rogatz, a member of the Miller Center Foundation Board, is a managing director in Baird’s Real Estate Investment Banking group. He was previously president of Ridgeway Capital LLC and chief financial officer of Brandywine Realty Trust.

Rudman is a practitioner senior fellow at the Miller Center. She served as deputy assistant to the president for national security affairs in the Clinton and Obama administrations and as chief counsel to the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Troiano is the executive director of Unite America, a nonpartisan organization that seeks to foster a more functional and representative government. When he ran for Congress in 2014, he drew national attention as the youngest candidate that cycle.

Volden is a professor of public policy and politics at the University of Virginia, with appointments in the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and the UVA department of politics. He is founder and codirector of the Center for Effective Lawmaking.
